The 2011 event was a great success as approximately 30 people ran on behalf of the charity and raised a combined total of around £10k on behalf

of the charity. Our thanks go out to all of those who went through sweat, blood and tears to make it round the course!

The Friends of Leeds Children’s Charity are children, volunteers and patrons from the past, including ex-Silverdalers, who join together to support the future of Leeds Children’s Charity.

Through our strong network of friends, we use the strength and experience of our past to build a bright future. We are actively seeking out Leeds Children’s Charity old boys and girls, who previously stayed at Silverdale, to become friends of the charity. Their

support, time, stories and memories can be used to inspire, encourage and generate much needed awareness for the charity in order to enable us to help more local children to experience the pleasure, warmth and care at Silverdale.
