Help us make this Summer Magical

Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm is dedicated to brightening children’s lives. We believe every child deserves to experience joy, fun and adventure.

Throughout the Summer Holidays, we’re organising several activity days on the grounds of Lineham Farm. We will be welcoming supported children and their families to these very special events which will promise a day packed with fun and adventure, helping them create happy memories to last a lifetime.

Please help us put a smile on a child’s face and hope in the heart of families across Leeds and welcome as many children as possible.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Summer Appeal – Donating as little as £2 will help us welcome young people and their families for a fun filled day at Lineham Farm – Make a Donation
Organise a Summer Fundraiser – From baking a cake to organising a sponsored walk, there’s lot’s of fun ways to fundraise, and help make a difference! Take part In a challenge event – We have lot’s of fun and engaging challenge events taking place this year, from Marathons, to 10ks, to our exclusive Great Leeds Walk Event. Take part and become a champion for the children of Leeds! You can check out our existing events here – Our Events

Sponsor a Bear

This year, we’re organising our annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic! We will be welcoming over 50 children and their families to Lineham Farm for a very special event and first time experiences. We will be hosting a variety of activities from Sports Days, Fete Games, Bushcraft and Obstacle Courses, providing them the opportunity to have a summer filled with fun and adventure.

To make the day even more memorable, each child will receive a Teddy Bear to keep and take home, a cherished friend and gift to remind them of this wonderful day.

For £15 you can sponsor a bear and help to create magical, memorable moments for the children who visit.

£15 – Sponsor one Teddy Bear

£150 – Sponsor 10 Teddy Bears

£300 – Sponsor 20 Teddy Bears

£750 – Sponsor 50 Teddy Bears

Summer Fundraising Ideas

EUROS SWEEPSTAKE – Add some extra fun to the Euros season while doing good by organising a Euro sweepstake for charity. Pick your teams, get your friends, family and colleagues involved, and make every goal count for a good cause! – you can find more details of how to take part here – EUROS Sweepstake Fundraiser
WEAR YOUR KIT TO WORK DAY – In honour of the UEFA Euros 2024, host a themed ‘wear your kit to work day’, asking those taking part to make a small donation.
MATCH SCREENING – Organise match screenings at home, at work, or wherever you like and ask for an entry donation to watch.

TEAM CHALLENGES – Keepy uppy’s, five aside, header competition or even a penalty shootout – the choice is yours!
TEAM TREASURE HUNT – Organise a team treasure hunt and use your teams brainpower to crack the clues and uncover hidden gems across our vibrant city! This one is all about fun and teamwork whilst also making a difference. Speak to us about how we can help bring our City Centre Treasure Hunt to your next event!
OFFICE OLYMPICS – Transform your office into an arena of friendly competition with our Office Olympics Fundraising Challenge! From desk chair races to paper plane javelin throws, unleash the inner athlete in each team member while raising funds for a worthy cause!
