Volunteer Van Driver - Christmas Gift Appeal

Help make Christmas possible for local children

We're looking for Volunteer Van Drivers to help collect and transport donated gifts for our Christmas Gift Appeal across Leeds. By giving a few hours of your time, you'll help ensure children facing poverty and disadvantage receive a gift this Christmas.

What you'll need:

• Full UK driving licence

• Confidence driving a larger van

• Ability to help with lifting and moving boxes

• Availability during weekdays in early December (flexible dates available)

Christmas Gift Appeal Coordinator Volunteer

We're looking for friendly, organised volunteers to support our Christmas Gift Appeal, helping ensure donated gifts are sorted, prepared and ready to reach local children in time for Christmas.

What you'll be doing

•Receiving and checking donated gifts

•Sorting gifts by age range and suitability

•Organising and storing donations safely

•Keeping simple donation records up to date

•Preparing gifts for collection and distribution

•Supporting our team and fellow volunteers throughout the appeal

•Wrapping gifts for our Christmas events and celebrations where needed

No experience needed, just a positive attitude, good organisation skills and a desire to help ensure every child deserves Christmas.

Volunteer dates: 2 & 4 December, and any available days between 7-11 December.

As a Volunteer Receptionist, you’ll help ensure every visitor is greeted with warmth and positivity. Your responsibilities will include meeting and directing guests, supporting essential safeguarding checks, and carrying out light administrative duties. Your contribution helps keep our site running smoothly and creates a professional, friendly, and well‑organised space for children, families, staff, and partners.
