Leeds Children’s Charity is pleased to welcome Duncan Pearse as its new Chair of Trustees. Bringing more than 25 years of experience supporting children and young people, Duncan joins the charity at an important stage of growth as it continues to expand its impact across Leeds. The article also highlights opportunities for new Trustees to join the Board and help shape brighter futures for children and families across the city.

We are proud to launch our new brand identity and website, helping us better reflect our mission of supporting children and young people facing poverty and disadvantage across Leeds. Our refreshed brand highlights the life-changing work that takes place at our charity home, Lineham Farm, alongside the launch of a new short film featuring powerful real-life stories from former visitors, families and supporters.

At Lineham Farm, children are given something simple but powerful: time, space and safety. Away from daily pressures, they can breathe, play, explore nature and rediscover what childhood should feel like.

Leeds Children’s Charity supports disadvantaged children’s mental health through outdoor learning and residential experiences at Lineham Farm, building confidence, safety, and hope.

Meet Danny and Marc, two dedicated Leeds Children’s Charity supporters who have taken on the Great Leeds Walk for the second year running. Discover how their 26-mile fundraising challenge has raised over £2,400 to help create brighter childhoods for children across Leeds.

Children visiting Lineham Farm are enjoying riding a new fleet of bikes thanks to funding received from Sport England alongside additional support from Leonard Curtis.

From pitching their own tents and building a camp to exploring the outdoors and spending time together around the campsite, every activity encouraged children to work as a team, develop new skills and discover what they were capable of. These shared experiences do far more than create happy memories. They help children build confidence, strengthen friendships, develop resilience and experience childhood as it should be.
