Last weekend we welcomed over 320 children and families to our annual Pumpkin Festival at Lineham Farm.

28th October 2025

Last weekend we welcomed over 320 children and families to our annual Pumpkin Festival at Lineham Farm. Extended for a full weekend this year, the event was a sell-out success, bringing autumn magic, spooky fun and memorable experiences for everyone who joined us.

From walking our wicked woodland trail and toasting marshmallows to pumpkin picking, spooky storytelling, crafts, face painting, tasty treats, tombolas and more, the farm was alive with laughter, fancy dress and Halloween excitement all weekend.

Our Pumpkin Festival is one of our annual public fundraising events. Thanks to ticket sales, on-the-day activities and food, drink and stall purchases, we raised an incredible £3,100, which would fund around 25 overnight stays at Lineham Farm for local children who really need them most. These stays give children facing poverty, trauma and disadvantage a safe space to play, explore, build confidence and simply enjoy being children.

An event like this takes a village, and we are so grateful to everyone who supported us, including our brilliant volunteers who decorated the farm, painted faces, ran stalls and tombolas, and tended the pumpkin patch. Thank you to everyone who donated pumpkins, prizes and goodies, and to all the families who came along, bought tickets, joined in the fundraising and helped make the weekend so special. And a huge thank you to our hardworking team who went above and beyond to make the event run smoothly. Because of you, the festival was not only a magical family weekend but a powerful act of community kindness.

We are already brimming with ideas for Pumpkin Festival 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Lineham Farm again soon – please check out our next public event, our Christmas Giving Event on Sunday 7 December.

Together we made this a weekend to remember. Together we are changing local children’s lives.
