One last visit to the Silverdale Centre

Leeds Children’s Charity has been associated with the centre (Leeds Children’s Holiday Camp) at Silverdale for many years.

With much regret, the trustees of the charity have made the decision to sell the centre. This year will be the last that young people from Leeds will be visiting and the charity’s ownership of the centre ends in November.

On Saturday the 13th of August the Silverdale Centre will be open between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to allow anyone who has been involved in the work at the centre, in any way, to say hello, to remember and to have one last visit.

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes will be available and at some point (probably around 12.30) there will be an opportunity for those present (if they wish) to reflect on their memories of the centre and the work that has taken place there.

If you wish to visit please email or by telephone 0113-2454281.
