The quickest way to support the charity is to make a donation – please click here for more details on the different donation options.
Champion a child
By making a small donation each month via direct debit, you will be able to donate enough to send a child on holiday each summer. It costs just £180 to send a child for a week of fun, which equates to 12 equal payments of £14.95.
If you would like to increase your donation, why not champion more than one child, depending on how much money you are comfortable with donating each month. Just £29.95 per month will send two children away, £44.95 will give help three kids and £59.95 will pay for a week’s break for four disadvantaged youngsters.
Organising and participating in fundraising events and activities, is a great way to raise awareness of Leeds Children’s Charity whilst generating enough money to send more underprivileged children on a respite break. Personal fundraising challenges such as the Leeds 10K, 3 Peaks Challenge and other sponsored events are a great way to get fit and do something wonderful for those in need at the same time! Friends of LCC
Who are the ‘Friends of Leeds Children’s Charity’? There is a large group of children, volunteers and patrons who work together to support the future of our charity – we call them our friends. Some have worked with us for many years and others are only just discovered the work we do. We even have some ex-Silverdaler’s who have been involved with the charity almost all of their lives.
Did you holiday at Silverdale when you were a child? We’re always on the lookout for ex-Silverdaler’s to share their stories to inspire and encourage others – spreading awareness of our fundraising along the way. With your help we can reach out to even more local children who could benefit from a break at Silverdale in the same way you did.
