Make every match matter this World Cup by hosting your own sweepstake in support of Leeds Children’s Charity. Whether you’re watching with friends, family or colleagues, a sweepstake adds extra excitement to the tournament – while helping create life-changing experiences for children across Leeds.
By donating a portion of your sweepstake proceeds, you’ll be helping disadvantaged children enjoy unforgettable breaks filled with adventure, fun and the chance to simply be children. Every goal scored on the pitch helps score brighter futures off it.
How to Host Your World Cup 2026 Sweepstake
1. Download & Print Your Sweepstake Sheet
Grab our ready-made template (coming soon!) and you’re good to go.
2. Set Your Entry Fee
Choose whether participants pay per team or per person – whatever works for your group.
3. Decide on the Prize & Donation Split
Pick how much goes into the winner’s pot and how much you’ll donate (see our suggested breakdowns below for inspiration).
4. Pick Your Teams
Draw teams from a hat (you can print our team sheet to help with this) or use an online generator. Record each participant and their team on your sheet.
5. Let the Tournament Begin
The World Cup kicks off on Thursday 11 June 2026 – follow the action, cheer your team on and enjoy the fun.
6. Donate Your Proceeds
After the final whistle, simply send your chosen donation directly to us. Instructions will be provided to all hosts on how to do this, but you can easily make the donation through our website here: Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm | Donate Online.
Suggested Entry Fees & Donation Splits
£5 per team → £120 total (Winner: £40 and Donation: £80)
£10 per team → £240 total (Winner: £80 and Donation: £160)
£20 per team → £480 total (Winner: £160 and Donation: £320)
These are only suggestions – feel free to adjust the entry fee and prize pot to suit your sweepstake!
